What you can achieve • Design and continuous further development of system and platform architectures • Conception of robust, scalable and secure solution architectures according to cloud-native and platform engineering principles • Planning and specification of system landscapes considering infrastructure, integration and operational requirements • Ensuring compliance with architectural principles, standards and best practices • Participation in the evaluation and selection of suitable platforms, modern technologies as well as automation and deployment concepts • Close cooperation with technical specialist teams to implement architectural specifications as well as to evaluate technical risks and co-design target architectures What you bring with you • Completed training or higher vocational education in the field of computer science or comparable qualification • Several years of experience in the conception of system and platform architectures • Sound understanding of architectural principles as well as cloud-native design with technologies such as Kubernetes and microservices • Experience in stakeholder management as well as in mediation between business and IT • Ability to analyze technological issues and assess well-founded solution approaches • Structured, communicative and convincing personality with high quality standards • Fluent German skills; English and/or French skills are an advantage • Military career as a higher non-commissioned officer or officer is an advantage Salary and benefits Around 3000 employees from RUAG and RUAG Real Estate make a significant contribution to the security of Switzerland every day.
