For our main department Bewährungshilfe, we are looking for a committed personality starting August 1, 2027, or by arrangement, who is completing the work-study program in Social Work at OST. There is the possibility to start the position as early as February 1, 2027, as a pre-internship (80%). Social Worker in Training - Work-study program Social Work OST (m/f/d) * You support clients from pre-trial detention to the end of the ordered probation period of the Bewährungshilfe * You advise and accompany clients in their social integration in the areas of housing, work, therapy, etc., unlock finances for them, and process their debt situation with them * You practice active victim protection by processing the offense with the clients according to methodological specifications * You participate with us in the further listed tasks of the Bewährungshilfe * You have completed vocational training and/or a maturity (vocational maturity, specialized maturity, or gymnasiale maturity) * You wish to complete the work-study program Bachelor of Science FH OST in Social Work or switch to work-study * Ideally, you already bring initial practical experience in the social sector * You have good social competencies in relationship management and communication. Furthermore, you are willing to develop these further within the framework of your training * You enjoy working in a team and at the same time have an independent and reliable way of working * You have proficient German in speaking and writing.
