Driven by the values of equity and respect, the Fondation de Vernand - a non-profit organization, recognized as being in the public interest and founded in 1972 - is committed to serving more than 600 children and adults with intellectual disabilities, developmental disorders, or autism spectrum disorder, in order to contribute to a more humane, inclusive society, open to difference and capable of adapting to the needs of each and every person.

To contribute to our inclusive goals and guarantee the well-being, health, and quality of life of the residents of the TSA micro-structures located in cheseaux-sur-Lausanne, we are looking for a:

Educator (M/F/X) - Permanent contract at 80%

Context and mission

Aware of the challenges surrounding the reception and support of complex cases, the Fondation de Vernand created three micro-structures in the summer of 2016, currently hosting 8 TSA residents. By welcoming these people, we have committed to providing them with an environment favorable to their well-being and the development of their skills through structuring and adapted support.

For 10 years, the individualized support of these people has proven its worth and the residents are showing new skills, which leads us to be in a state of continuous improvement of service provision to allow them personal fulfillment.

Profile

• Possess a diploma in , or ASE, ASSC or with experience in an educational setting
• Be enthusiastic about adhering to the values and projects of the Foundation, and about investing in its mission with an adult TSA audience (soft skills must correspond to our institutional culture)
• Have acquired the necessary skills related to the support of TSA persons: the person benefits from training or practices related to complex situations.
• Demonstrate interpersonal qualities, adaptability, and creativity to juggle the diversity of necessary postures and proposed activities
• A motivation to work for a project that involves challenges and will evolve over time
• A sense of responsibility, communication, adaptability, flexibility, and autonomy
• An interest in network work, with families and legal representatives
• Schedule flexibility (night work possible via an on-call service)
• Be in possession of a driver's license

Other information

We offer you a collaborative environment that is innovative in its participatory management and favored by supervisions, pedagogical days, practice analyses, training, and weekly colloquiums. Working conditions according to the CCT of the canton of Vaud. (for a 100% rate: 4.5h/week - 8 weeks of vacation per year).
