Trainee Category Management Tasks Practical insights into the retail business with a focus on customers, assortments, merchandise presentation, and promotions. Understanding of central interface areas such as Supply Chain Management, logistics, accounts payable, and customer service. Building sound specialist knowledge in Category Management – from assortment and price via promotions to key figures and market analyses. Collaboration in various category areas to develop a broad understanding of different market and assortment logics. Taking on initial tasks, reflecting on one's own findings in transfer assignments, and preparing for an entry-level position in Category Management.
