Nurse in home hospitalization (HAD) at 80% / on a permanent contract Job Description To avoid hospitalization or facilitate early discharge, home hospitalization (HAD) is intended for anyone, from infants to adults, who requires technical and/or complex hospital-level care. Thus, HAD intervenes throughout the canton 365 days a year and 24 hours a day, when care can be provided at home and specialized expertise is required (pediatrics, adult and pediatric oncology, nephrology, wound care, etc.). HAD's service offering is part of and complements IMAD's home care team services. Our nurses provide care autonomously, respecting clients' habits, beliefs, values, and culture. Interventions are carried out, on medical prescription, in close collaboration with treating physicians or specialists, Proximos, clinics, hospitals, and network partners. Your Missions and Responsibilities Respond effectively to specific care needs by providing technically complex nursing care autonomously and on medical delegation to clients at home, usually provided in a hospital setting (blood transfusion, peritoneal dialysis, IV antibiotic therapy, ...) Provide personalized and comprehensive care to clients of all ages and at high risk of hospitalization, suffering from severe (palliative care for adults and children) or chronic (somatic and/or psychic) pathologies Exercise a situational reference role and act in accordance with the principles of the nursing code of ethics to ensure comprehensive client care in their usual environment Participate in the institutional mission to promote home care in a stimulating framework for our clients. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in nursing Minimum two years of professional experience in a hospital setting within an acute care service Dexterity in technical care Ability to adapt, be flexible, and react Great relational ease, ability to manage stress, and sense of responsibility Knowledge of the Geneva healthcare network Ability to work autonomously and in an interdisciplinary team Car mobility is essential.
