Team Leader Labor Market Control Office 80 - 100% # The Economic Directorate of the Canton of Zürich ( www.vd.zh.ch) includes the Office for Employment, the Office for Economy, the Office for Mobility, and administratively the Zürcher Verkehrsverbund (ZVV). In the interest of employees and companies, the Office for Economy (AWI) helps to strengthen the location of Zürich. With its around 100 employees, economic expertise is bundled in the AWI, and the areas of location promotion, work permits, labor relations, labor inspectorate and economy, as well as the staff, are located there.  The Labor Relations area is active in the implementation of flanking measures. Wage and illegal work controls are carried out, compliance with the reporting obligation is verified, the Posting of Workers Act is enforced, the Federal Act on measures to combat illegal work is implemented, and the labor market is monitored regarding compliance with local, professional, and industry-standard wages. The offices of the Tripartite Commission of the Canton of Zürich (TPK) as well as the Conciliation Office are also located in this area. The Labor Market Control Office team is responsible for the control activity in the area of flanking measures for the free movement of persons in sectors without universally binding collective labor agreements, the job reporting obligation, as well as the combatting of illegal work in all sectors. Due to the retirement of the current job holder, we are looking for a Team Leader per 1. October 2026 or by arrangement.
