Senior Real Estate Accountant

Are you confident in closing accounts, feel at home in both classic financial accounting and real estate accounting, and appreciate a versatile field of activity? In this position, you will take responsibility for the accounting and closings of various companies up to the group and holding level, while simultaneously managing the property accounting of the company's own real estate portfolio. This offers you an exciting combination of classic accounting and real estate.

Your tasks

• Independent management of the financial and property accounting of various companies
• Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements as well as closing work at the real estate and holding level
• Management of property accounting including periodic closings and service charge settlements
• Responsibility for VAT returns, fixed asset accounting, intercompany billings, and IC reconciliations
• Management of accounts receivable and accounts payable including payment transactions, dunning processes, and collections
• Active further development of financial and accounting processes as well as participation in digitalization and optimization projects

Your profile

• Commercial training with further education in finance and accounting
• Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting in a real estate environment
• Sound experience in real estate/property accounting
• Strong closing confidence and enjoyment of a broad accounting field of activity
• Good IT user knowledge; experience with Abacus and/or AbaImmo is an advantage
• Proficient German as well as an independent, precise, and team-oriented way of working
