Ins \| 90-90% Your contribution <br /> • Plan and conduct experimental crops in the open field, including plant protection and fertilization, in close collaboration with Agroscope researchers and the involved agricultural companies • Document experimental and cultivation activities • Collect and analyze experimental data, for example those relating to yield and quality • Monitor harmful organisms for the purposes of early diagnosis and control • Procure the necessary means for operational and experimental activities • Serve as deputy for the director of the experimental station; work at the interface between horticultural practice, consultancy, and practice-oriented research <br /> What distinguishes you <br /> • Diploma from a university or a university of applied sciences (BSc/MSc) in agronomy or equivalent training • Practical experience in horticulture or in fruit and vegetable nursery constitutes a preferential qualification • Familiarity with technical tasks • High level of autonomy and flexibility • Good knowledge of two official languages and English <br /> In summary The Ins Horticulture experimental station develops, in collaboration with its partners, applicable solutions for the many challenges that arise in the horticultural sector. Experiments are conducted both on land owned by the company and on land belonging to fruit and vegetable producers (on-farm). This way, the specific needs of the fruit and vegetable sector are taken into account and the link with practice is strengthened. As a technical-scientific collaborator at the experimental station, the chosen person must demonstrate motivation, love performing technical activities and working in the field, but also appreciate data analysis in the office.
