Tooling and Programming Manager (m/f)

The Tooling and Programming Manager manages the activities of the ConceptionOutillages, CN Programming and Mechanics departments. He/She is responsible for planning, prioritization and workload balancing in order to ensure the completion of projects in compliance with quality, cost and deadline objectives. He/She ensures the permanent adequacy between the workload and the capacity of the teams, challenges priorities and acts as the primary interlocutor for internal clients (Methods Technicians, Workshop Managers and other services). YOUR ROLE TO PLAY • Plan, organize and prioritize the activities of the Conception/ Outillages, CN Programming and Mechanics departments. • Ensure a consolidated vision of the workload in the short, medium and long term. • Guarantee an optimal distribution of resources based on skills and priorities. • Identify risks of overload or underload and implement appropriate actions. • Regularly analyze the Load / Capacity adequacy of the different departments. • Challenge teams on their workload estimations and their completion deadlines. • Adapt priorities in order to optimize overall performance. • Propose trade-offs when capacities do not allow for meeting needs. • Be the primary interlocutor for Methods Technicians and Workshop Managers regarding requests and deadlines. • Negotiate realistic commitments and ensure their compliance. • Communicate proactively about risks, deviations and action plans. • Define individual and collective objectives and develop team skills. • Promote a culture of performance, accountability and continuous improvement. • Optimize planning processes and flow management. • Standardize operating methods between the different departments. QUALITIES TO EXCEL You hold a higher education degree in mechanics, industrialization or industrial engineering and benefit from confirmed experience in managing technical teams including an activity management, planning and industrial project management dimension. You benefit from solid knowledge of machining, tooling design and CN programming.
