The VCS Verkehrs-Club der Schweiz is committed to human- and environmentally-friendly mobility. The VCS-Sektion Bern pursues these goals in the Canton of Bern with projects and sustainable transport policy.

We are looking for, starting from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement, a new

Regional Group Manager Biel/Bienne-Seeland-Grand Chasseral & Project Assistant 20-25 %

For this interesting position, we wish for a communicative, innovative, and independent personality with great organizational talent and a confident manner.

Your tasks:

• Management of the VCS-Regionalgruppe Biel/Bienne-Seeland-Grand Chasseral 15-20 %
• Management of another, content-related association as a mandate 5 %
• Planning and organization of the board meetings of the Regionalgruppe Biel/Bienne-Seeland-Grand Chasseral and another, content-related association.
• General secretarial tasks, correspondence, documentation, filing
• Planning and implementation of transport and environmental policy activities
• Writing statements and public relations work
• Contact point for transport, environmental, and association policy concerns, especially for members

What you bring:

• Interest and good knowledge in the field of transport, spatial planning, and environmental policy
• High identification with the goals of the VCS
• Proficiency in oral and written expression
• Native language German or French, with very good knowledge of the other language respectively
• The ability to set priorities & coordination skills
• Enjoyment in dealing with voluntary and honorary members
• Experience in project work
