• 22 July 2026 • 100% • Indefinite duration • Baar Fuel & Commodities Physical Operator Hours: Full time Location: Baar, Switzerland The Position We are looking for a Fuel & Commodities Physical Operator to support our fuel oil and commodities trading activities and ensure coverage for crude operations leave. The position is integrated into our Trading team in Baar, which manages the flows of crude, fuel oil, and commodities related to our refineries and our assets. You will work closely with Traders and Commercial Analysts on a daily basis and will play a key role in ensuring that our physical operations are executed reliably and accurately. This position is based in central Switzerland, and in person at the office. Your Key Responsibilities • Manage daily voyage operations, in liaison with VAROPreem traders, loading and unloading terminals, inspectors, rail/pipeline operators where applicable, and commercial counterparts to ensure the timely and accurate execution of commercial commitments; • Identify optimization opportunities regarding operational aspects (timing, blending, cost savings), as well as potential risks and develop mitigation strategies; • Ensure that systems are kept up to date so that inventories are correctly controlled, hedging requirements are executed, and payment obligations are fulfilled accurately; • Coordinate with the Treasury and Credit teams to ensure that Letters of Credit are in place and that sales are not subject to financial blocks; • Collaborate with the refining team to ensure that refinery planning requirements are reflected in the operational plans; • At the end of the month, ensure that activities are correctly reflected in the reports, that cost provisions are updated, and that system data match the terminal and pipeline inventory reports. Your Profile • A Bachelor's or Master's degree, or an equivalent professional degree; • You have at least 2 years of experience in oil trading operations within an international trading environment; • Experience with fuel and commodity quality specifications, as well as blending activities, is a significant asset; • You are proficient in English. Knowledge of other languages, notably Swedish, German, or French, is a plus; • You have a great sense of detail and systematically provide accurate and high-quality work; • You are proactive, reactive, and reliable, with a practical approach to your responsibilities; • You communicate clearly and effectively, and enjoy solving complex challenges with a practical and creative mindset; • You perform well under pressure and are able to prioritize effectively in a dynamic trading environment.
