What you can set in motion.

• As a train dispatcher, you monitor the railway network assigned to you, ensure the regulation of trains in a safe and ecological manner, and control the traffic.
• During normal operations, you observe the traffic; you intervene with calm and efficiency in the event of disruptions and immediately introduce the necessary measures to restore normal operations.
• In the event of disturbances, you introduce the required measures so that the situation returns to normal.
• You ensure coordination and communication with the members of your team as well as with locomotive, construction site, and shunting personnel.
• You are responsible for customer information in the stations and ensure that communication is rapid and clear.
• Thanks to your commitment, passenger and freight trains run punctually and safely, day and night.

What you bring.

• You demonstrate team spirit and reliability and are willing to work in shifts (24 hours).
• You think in a structured and networked manner, and know how to react quickly and thoughtfully in stressful situations. An affinity for technology is among the skills developed as part of the training.
• During the intensive and demanding training period, you must demonstrate a high degree of personal responsibility and a pronounced willingness to learn, while showing a readiness to invest yourself in different learning environments, from the in-person phase to digital self-learning.
• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship of at least three years or obtained a maturity. Your motivation matters more to us than the industry you come from.
• You master the French language with confidence (level C2) and ideally have A1 level knowledge in German. Furthermore, your color vision is perfect (neither protanomaly nor deuteranomaly).
• During the application process, we will ask you for a current extract from the criminal record as well as from the register of debt collection and bankruptcy (dating from less than three months). This document can be ordered at the time of the invitation to a personal interview.
