Freelance Prevention Instructor

RoadCross Schweiz is a non-profit foundation with its headquarters in the heart of Zürich and a branch in Lausanne. Our focuses are road accident prevention and the counseling of victims of road traffic. With the goal of reducing accident numbers and increasing road safety for all road users, RoadCross Schweiz participates in political discussion and advocates for corresponding measures.

For participation in our prevention campaign for young people, we are looking for, effective immediately or by arrangement, a

Freelance Prevention Instructor (approx. 10% annual workload) ##

Your tasks ###

You are responsible for conducting prevention events for road traffic safety for adolescents and young adults in German-speaking Switzerland. This includes in particular:

• Moderation of prevention events in German-speaking Switzerland
• Participation in further education conferences

The prevention events are aimed at adolescents and young adults between 16 to 24 years old in different settings such as vocational schools, motivational semesters, apprentice companies, youth homes, sports clubs etc.

Your profile ###

• You have experience in prevention work as well as interest in engaging intensively with the topic of road accident prevention.
• You have extensive experience in working with adolescents and/or young adults from 16 years old and have good access to the target group.
• You feel comfortable in different settings and in collaborating both with adolescents and young adults as well as authorities (teachers, police).
• You are willing to travel regularly (public transport).
• Irregular working hours do not pose a problem for you.
• You are proficient in using a PC and feel comfortable using digital instruments.
• You enjoy a confident and authentic appearance before larger groups.
• You enjoy reading up on a topic and processing it in a short period of time.
