System Engineer Operations (w/m/d)

Your tasks

• Together with the team, you ensure the stable operation of our datacenter infrastructure, specifically looking after the Hyper-V platform as well as adjacent infrastructure services.
• You monitor, operate, and optimize server, virtualization, and cloud environments and ensure high availability of the services.
• You plan and accompany changes, releases, and lifecycle measures and support their controlled implementation.
• You analyze incidents and malfunctions in 2nd and 3rd level support and actively work on sustainable solutions.
• You support infrastructure and migration projects and participate in the further development of our datacenter platforms.
• You work closely with customers, engineering teams, and other specialist departments and coordinate technical requirements.
• You carry out installations, maintenance work, and technical assignments at our datacenter locations.
• You actively participate in the operation and further development of central services within the OneService Factory (M365 / Azure).
• You document operating processes, technical solutions, and concepts and support the standardization and automation of our platforms.
• You support the on-call service and contribute to high service quality and availability.

Your profile

• You have completed IT training (EFZ) or a comparable technical training with corresponding further education.
• You bring practical experience as a System Engineer in the area of datacenter, infrastructure, or managed services.
• You have good knowledge in the operation of Microsoft Hyper-V environments and M365 and Azure.
• Knowledge of VMware as well as OpenStack is an advantage.
• You possess know-how in the area of Windows Server as well as hybrid infrastructure and cloud solutions.
• Experience with automation (scripting) or monitoring solutions, Citrix Netscaler are an advantage.
• You work in a structured, responsible, and solution-oriented manner and maintain an overview even in demanding situations.
• You convince through a strong service and customer orientation as well as enjoyment in working with various stakeholders.
• You bring initiative, team spirit, and a high awareness of quality.
• You communicate confidently in German as well as well in English.
