QC Technician

About the position

As part of the reinforcement of its Quality Control laboratory, our partner based in Genève is looking for an experienced Chemistry Quality Control Technician to ensure the performance of analyses and guarantee product compliance in a demanding and regulated pharmaceutical environment.

Your responsibilities

• Receive samples and verify their integrity before analysis.
• Perform quality control analyses on raw materials, intermediate products, finished products, stability studies, validations, and utilities.
• Ensure the review of analytical data and verify the compliance of results according to current procedures.
• Guarantee the traceability, accuracy, and integrity of the generated data.
• Participate in investigations related to deviations, OOS, OOT, and non-conformities.
• Perform maintenance, cleaning, periodic qualifications, and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Manage reagents, solutions, reference standards, and consumables necessary for the proper functioning of the laboratory.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects and the optimization of laboratory activities.
• Ensure strict compliance with GMP requirements, quality procedures, as well as HSE rules.

Profile sought

• Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or an equivalent scientific discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Chemistry Quality Control, ideally within the pharmaceutical, biotechnological, or chemical industry.
• Good mastery of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP/BPF).
• Experience with analytical techniques such as HPLC, UPLC, GC, dissolution, titration, or similar techniques.
• Experience in analytical data review and documentation in a regulated environment.
• Team spirit, rigor, organizational skills, and the ability to evolve in a demanding environment.
• Good level of French; English is an asset.
