School Director (a) Asylum School Services Canton Luzern # 60% | Luzern | immediately, fixed-term until 31.01.2027 (possibly with an option for extension) ## Shaping the future together: The Asylum School Services Luzern are looking for a School Director who is committed and dedicated to the education and integration of refugee children, adolescents and young adults. As part of our organizational development with the vision "Eine Schule", the position offers great creative freedom with the possibility of a subsequent indefinite extension. Your tasks • With pedagogical foresight and organizational skill, you will lead one of our school locations in and around Luzern - a school for non-native speaking adolescents and young adults aged 16 to 23 as well as for children in compulsory schooling who are schooled with us before transferring to a municipality. • In close exchange with the teachers and the caregivers of the asylum seekers, you create clear structures, ensure reliable processes and mediate in difficult situations in everyday school life. • You represent the location to the overall management by communicating the interests, challenges and strategic goals of the location and acting as a central interface between daily operations and overall management. • As a member of the management team of the Asylum School Services, you actively help shape school development with the vision "Eine Schule" - always with a future-oriented view of quality, impact and the special needs of the learners. Your profile • You mandatory possess a teaching diploma, have completed further training in school leadership, several years of practical experience as a teacher as well as in a school management position. • Even in a dynamic environment with changing requirements, you act proactively and in a structured manner - always with a view to those involved. • You are proficient in administration as well as in personal and written communication, actively contribute to the management team with pleasure and enjoy taking on responsibility. • Working with learners from different cultures fulfills you - intercultural understanding and a high degree of solution orientation characterize your way of thinking and acting.
