The Stiftung WOHIN at the Thun location offers supervised and supported forms of living for 22 adults with a mental impairment on behalf of the Canton of Bern, as well as an open and supervised leisure meeting point. The residents are advised, supervised, and supported in their daily lives, in their independence, and in their leisure activities, where necessary and desired. To complement our team, we are looking for a resilient, flexible, and motivated Caregiver 80% ## starting 01.10.2026 or by arrangement. Your main tasks • As a reference person, you accompany the residents in their daily lives, take on case responsibility, and maintain a professional working relationship • You are responsible for individual stay planning as well as the support and accompaniment of living together and daily tasks inside and outside our institution • Department and apartment responsibility, holiday replacements for reference persons • Co-department responsibility leisure - meeting point, accompaniment of approx. every 14th Saturday meeting, 2 day trips and 1 holiday week per year • You work during the week between 09.00 - 20.00 Your profile • You have completed training as a Fachperson Betreuung (people with impairments), in the field of social work, social pedagogy, psychiatry, or in comparable professions with experience in working with people with mental impairments • Ideally, you are expert in systemic and solution-oriented working approaches • You enjoy taking on responsibility and have an unproblematic criminal record extract We offer • a motivated, partnership-oriented, and flexible team • opportunities to help shape our operations • regular case supervisions and further training opportunities • a good infrastructure • regular shifts without night standby • Remuneration according to cantonal guidelines We look forward to receiving your application via email by 23 August 2026.
