Packaging & Manufacturing Engineer

For a production and innovation environment, we are looking for an experienced Packaging & Manufacturing Engineer who acts as a technical interface between Research & Development and manufacturing. In this role, you are responsible for the successful industrialization of new products and technologies and ensure that these are transferred into production efficiently, with high quality, and economically. Packaging & Manufacturing Engineer International customer in FMCG Job Description Leading industrialization and commercialization projects for new products and technologies from the development phase to market launch Development and implementation of validation strategies (IQ/OQ/PQ) as well as ensuring production release Conducting technical risk analyses (FMEA) and deriving suitable measures for risk minimization Definition, optimization and further development of manufacturing processes, production equipment and product specifications Evaluation of manufacturability, production capacities and costs of new products Close cooperation with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations and other specialist departments Support of Stage-Gate processes and technical project decisions Initiation and implementation of Lean Manufacturing, automation and Continuous Improvement projects Analysis of relevant key performance indicators and continuous improvement of quality, efficiency and time-to-market Representation of the production site in strategic production and allocation decisions Profile Completed studies in the field of Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable discipline At least 5 years of professional experience in a manufacturing industrial environment Experience in the FMCG, consumer goods, cosmetics, pharma or food industry Sound knowledge in Packaging Engineering, Process Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering Experience with product industrialization, process validation and production launches Know-how in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement and process optimization Knowledge in FMEA, risk analyses and structured problem-solving methods Experience in working with interdisciplinary teams and international stakeholders Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form The Offer Interested in the next career step?
