Head of Quality

For our partner, a leading Swiss family business in the Sumiswald region, we are looking for a quality-conscious personality. In this role, you will ensure the high quality standard and play a decisive part in shaping the strategic direction of quality management.

Head of Quality 80-100% ( m,w,d)

Your tasks:

• Technical and personnel leadership of the quality management area in the Quality Hand Tools sector
• Application and further development of quality methods including risk assessment
• Planning and implementation of the audit program (internal, external, and suppliers)
• Management of the ISO management system
• Maintenance and targeted further development of the QMS as a strategic leadership element
• Identification and sustainable processing of quality problems and complaints including root cause analysis and effectiveness testing
• Development of testing strategies and testing concepts for existing and new products
• Quality-side support of development projects including investigations on prototypes and zero series
• Sparring partner at eye level for the metal-processing employees regarding quality-relevant questions as well as promotion of a sustainable quality awareness

Qualifications

You bring with you:

• mandatory a technical-mechanical basic training with higher education (HF, FH level) as well as further training in quality management or a comparable qualification
• Sound knowledge in materials science with a focus on steel and steel processing
• Practical experience in quality management and quality assurance of high-quality consumer goods
• Sound knowledge of common quality standards and methods as well as strong analytical skills and problem-solving competence
• Customer satisfaction, flexibility, team spirit, affinity for detail and a sharp eye for improvement opportunities
• Very good German skills in spoken and written
