Senior Physician Rhinology

Do you want to contribute your clinical and surgical expertise, lead a team, and further develop rhinology? At our University ENT Clinic, you will take over the professional and personnel management of the rhinology department. As a member of the clinic management, you will also help shape the further development of the entire clinic.
Our clinic offers comprehensive medical care in the entire field of otorhinolaryngology. In rhinology, a wide clinical and surgical spectrum awaits you with the outpatient and inpatient care of adults and children. An interdisciplinary team, modern infrastructure, and the combination of clinical activity, research, and teaching create a versatile working environment.

What awaits you

• Lead and further develop rhinology: You will assume professional responsibility and personnel management of the department and develop it further together with your team
• Help shape the clinic: As a member of the clinic management, you will contribute your expertise and your ideas to the further development of the clinic as well as its processes and structures
• Contribute clinical and surgical expertise: You will care for and treat outpatient and inpatient patients from the entire spectrum of rhinology
• Pass on knowledge and experience: You will be involved in the further training and supervision of aspiring specialist physicians at our Category A training center as well as in student teaching
• Share responsibility: Together with the other senior physicians, you will participate in the clinic's on-call service

What you bring with you

• You possess a federally recognized specialist title in otorhinolaryngology or equivalent. The subspecialty title in Head and Neck Surgery (SIWF) is desired
• You bring profound clinical and surgical experience in rhinology, including skull base surgery
• You are habilitated or possess the academic requirements to complete your habilitation within one to two years
• You have leadership experience and enjoy promoting employees and accompanying young colleagues in their professional development
• You are characterized by team orientation, strong social and communication skills, and an appreciative manner with patients and employees
• You work independently, carefully, and reliably. Organizational skills, initiative, and interest in the further development of clinical processes and structures round off your profile
• You have very good German skills (C1--C2) as well as oral and written English skills. Knowledge of French is an advantage
