Business Engineer*in (80 - 100 %)

You will actively help shape the further development of our drainage business area, connecting processes, data, and management systems into an effective overall control system and creating the basis for sound decisions as well as a successful digital transformation. Together with our specialist departments, you will develop efficient workflows, strengthen process quality, and drive continuous improvement as well as the construction, integration, and further development of management and control systems in one of the largest urban infrastructure sectors.

Tasks ##

• You develop and are responsible for the management systems in the areas of quality, environment, asset management, internal control system (ICS), health, as well as records management, and ensure their effective anchoring in the drainage business area.
• You continuously develop our business processes together with the process owners and identify optimization and digitalization potentials.
• You analyze business, process, and operational data, further develop key performance indicators including reporting solutions, and create the basis for data-based control as well as future automation and AI applications.
• You develop sophisticated concepts, risk analyses, and decision-making bases, and take on project management or business analysis in digitalization and organizational projects.
• You work closely with controlling, quality management, IT / digitalization, as well as other partners, and ensure a uniform implementation of standards, guidelines, and governance.

Profile ##

• University degree (FH/Uni) in Business Engineering, Business Informatics, Engineering, Business Administration, Data Science, or a comparable field of study, ideally supplemented by further training in quality or process management
• Several years of professional experience in business analysis, process management, digitalization, or data management, as well as experience in leading projects
• Experience in the analysis and optimization of business processes, in data-based control, and in the implementation of digitalization and change projects.
• Analytical, structured, and networked way of thinking, implementation and solution competence, the ability to communicate complex connections understandably, as well as enjoyment in actively driving changes.
• Very good German skills (level C2), very good knowledge of the MS-365 environment, digital affinity, as well as experience with data modeling, reporting, and analysis tools
