March/April 2027 ## In the Wauwilermoos correctional facility, the admitted persons are at the center - with a daily routine designed to be as close to real life as possible, supported by professionalism, humanity, and a well-coordinated team. Due to a retirement, we are looking for a leadership personality who brings security and proximity into harmony. Your tasks • You lead the Security and Infrastructure area with the three departments Supervision Care, Substitute Prison Sentences (EFS), as well as Technology & Maintenance, and lead three department heads with a total of 27 employees. • From the security concept to the service orders, you develop the specifications in the security area and consistently enforce their compliance. In addition, you maintain the exchange with emergency services and other partners. • As a leader, you model the attitude that the admitted persons are at the center of the work, thereby shaping the leadership of your employees and acting as the connecting element. • You plan and accompany maintenance, renovation, and assembly work on the security and building technology systems as well as construction projects, coordinating closely with the Construction Project Manager and the Head of Operations. • As a member of the Executive Board, you contribute actively and network to further develop the institution, and allow your expertise to flow into cross-departmental projects and concepts. • You ensure occupational safety as a Safety Officer (SIBE). Your profile • Several years of professional and leadership experience, ideally in corrections, distinguishes you; in doing so, you combine clarity and humanity and create orientation. • You have a higher vocational qualification or a university degree in a technical direction (e.g., engineer) as well as additional training in the conceptual area of security. • Between different stakeholder groups, you see yourself as a connecting element and proceed in a solution-oriented manner even in conflicts. • Analytical and networked thinking as well as organizational skill help you to convey complex matters understandably with linguistic certainty and fluency. • The willingness to undergo training as a corrections specialist and/or leadership expert in corrections at the SKJV as well as as a Safety Officer (SIBE) completes your profile.
