Test Technician

Your tasks ## • Responsibility for smooth and safe test operations in inactive and active (hot lab) material testing (maintenance, calibrations) • Development, construction, assembly, mounting, adaptation of material testing apparatus in cooperation with scientists as well as internal technical specialist departments and external companies • Creation and updating of QA documentation, technical specifications, and work instructions for the conduct of tests • Guidance and support of doctoral students and post-doctoral students during material testing and the assembly of test systems • Coordination of sample production including cutting plans Your profile ## • Technical vocational training with further training as a technician TS or comparable several years of professional experience • Basic knowledge in measurement, control, and electrical engineering as well as in data acquisition and CAD/design • Knowledge in mechanical manufacturing as well as in handling electromechanical and servohydraulic testing devices and pumps • Manual dexterity, a broad technical understanding as well as a strong awareness of quality and safety • Good English skills for cooperation in an international environment • Willingness to work with radioactive materials in the hot lab We offer ## Our institute is based on interdisciplinary, innovative, and dynamic cooperation.
