Medical Co-Director Medical Division

Shape the future of university medicine with us. Insel Gruppe is realigning itself and creating four strong medical divisions: Surgery, Medicine, Integrated Medicine, and Transversal Medicine. In the new divisions, 8 to 12 clinics and institutes will each be merged. This creates a future-oriented organization that networks medical competence even more strongly, opens up new possibilities for collaboration and further development, and reflects leadership responsibility. What awaits you Together with your two co-director colleagues from nursing and business administration, you will assume overall responsibility for one of the four divisions. In doing so, you will combine professional excellence with strategic leadership and promote close interprofessional cooperation. A part-time clinical activity (20-50%) is desirable. Your most important tasks in the division include: • Implementation of the Insel Gruppe corporate strategy • Leadership of the division; responsibility for the medical and economic results • Further development of the division including the service offering • Planning and management of capacities and resources • Responsibility for quality, safety, and process management • Budget responsibility • Personnel leadership of the clinic and institute directors as well as other direct reports • Promotion of interdisciplinary and interprofessional cooperation across specialty and divisional boundaries <br /> What you bring with you You are a medical executive with a proven leadership personality. You are characterized by strategic and organizational competence. You value good interprofessional and interdisciplinary cooperation. You bring with you: • Chief physician function or leading medical function with habilitation and possibly professorship • Several years of leadership experience in a large, ideally university organization • Further training in leadership, management, or business administration • Respectful interaction at eye level as well as strong communication skills with clear and effective communication • Initiative, commitment, as well as patient- and employee-oriented thinking and acting <br /> Our offer This function offers you the extraordinary opportunity to help shape the future organization of one of the most significant university healthcare providers in Switzerland.
