Vacancy No. 6501 ## Tasks ### • receiving and checking transport orders • obtaining freight rates from agents and airlines • calculating and submitting transport offers • entering shipments in the TMS • checking, requesting and creating transport and freight documents • handling customs formalities • communicating with customers, airlines, agents • monitoring shipments • obtaining and finalizing transport insurance • controlling and adhering to the transport budget • documenting and reporting regarding the transports • general admin. work Requirements ### • completed training as a freight forwarding clerk or similar basic training • several years of experience in the field of air freight • sound knowledge of customs regulations is just as important as current market knowledge IT ### MS-Office - good knowledge Languages ### German: native speaker level English: m+s good to very good (level B1) Start date ### immediately or by arrangement Work location ### Region Zürich (Kloten, Flughafen, Glattbrugg) Special features ### Those who want to further develop their knowledge in freight forwarding will find the right position here.
