Head of Accounting & Finance Projects (100%)

In this versatile role, you are responsible for the Finance Projects function as well as the Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) areas and the accounting of our "Vertical" business models. At the same time, you drive the further development of financial processes, accounting systems, governance, and IKS, and represent the interests of Finance in cross-departmental projects and initiatives.

Your tasks:

Finance Projects:

• Management and implementation of finance & accounting projects
• Collaboration on integration and system projects
• Definition of requirements as well as coordination of tests, documentation & implementation
• Identification of automation and digitalization potential
• Further development of finance processes, controls, data quality & IKS
• Coordination of internal and external stakeholders as well as ensuring quality, deadlines, and agreed project goals

Accounting:

• Disciplinary and professional leadership of an accountant
• Purchase-to-Pay: Responsibility for accounts payable and provisions, including monitoring and optimizing the purchase-to-pay process, user management and training, as well as auditing internal guidelines
• Fixed asset accounting: Responsibility for fixed asset accounting, ensuring the correct accounting representation and documentation of fixed assets
• Accounting of the "Vertical" business models (e.g., Starzone). Ensuring the correct booking and reconciliation of all contracts and business transactions according to OR, IFRS, and Swiss GAAP FER
• Continuous further development of the processes in the accounting responsibility area, the systems, and controls

Other tasks:

• Deputizing for the CFO as well as the Director Accounting within defined areas of responsibility
• Ambassador within the Finance department for new processes and systems on the part of the shareholders
• Taking on project management or sub-project management tasks in finance and business transformation initiatives

Your qualifications:

• University degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a comparable education
• Further training in finance and accounting or project management is an advantage
• Several years of experience in finance and accounting, as well as experience in finance projects and process optimization
• Knowledge in digitalization, automation, and ERP systems
• Knowledge of the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR), IFRS, and Swiss GAAP FER
• Very good Excel and ERP skills
• Very good German and English skills
• Entrepreneurial, analytical, and solution-oriented personality with high initiative
• Strong communication skills, team-oriented, and motivated to actively shape and drive change
