Das Oberstufenzentrum Biel-Madretsch is one of the three German-speaking secondary school centers in the city of Biel. Our school is well-organized, multicultural, and diverse. We place great importance on successful coexistence for all students. Well 300 students attend the 7th to 9th grade in six Sekundar-, eight Realklassen, and two mixed-age Realklassen. They are taught by around fifty class and subject teachers. We apply the 3a model (Manuel), in which the subjects German, French, and Mathematics are taught in level classes, and the remaining subjects are taught in the home classes.

Tasks ###

Our mixed-age Realklasse is looking for a Co-Class Teacher and Teacher. The class consists of 10 to 12 students mixed from 7th, 8th, and 9th grades. The students have special needs, which we support with this smaller class and team-teaching instruction. Teaching subjects: Mathematics, French, Natur & Technik, Berufliche Orientierung Activity as IF support in Deutsch, RZG, ERG, Musik, Sport teaching days: Monday: 07:30 - 16:20, Wednesday: 07:30 - 11:00, Thursday: 07:30 - 11:50, Friday: 07:30 - 15:20. Are you committed with all your heart? Do you enjoy working in a team, conducting conversations with parents and specialist agencies, and do you possess high organizational talent? Are you familiar with IF, eU, and bVSA? You accompany classes as an Integrative Förderung teacher, adapt materials to the individual learning levels of the students, and write reports on those students.

Requirements ###

For the fulfilling work as a teacher, a PH degree as well as several years of experience are very desirable. Natural talents who are still in their PH studies are also welcome. Willingness to cooperate in the faculty and participate in various school events and working groups is required.
