Bergbahnen Beckenried-Emmetten AG operates the family-friendly excursion and recreation area Klewenalp-Stockhütte high above Lake Lucerne. Mountain railways, gastronomy, summer and winter offers, as well as versatile leisure experiences, make Klewenalp-Stockhütte an attractive year-round excursion destination for guests of all ages.

The company is in an exciting development phase and operates 13 facilities, achieves an annual turnover of around CHF 7.5 Mio. and employs 110 employees, of which 75 are employed during the winter. The modernization of the infrastructure and further development of the offers provide the future management with the opportunity to actively and sustainably help shape the future of the company and the region.

For this demanding task, we are looking for a strong-implementation personality with high initiative and decisiveness.

Your tasks

• Overall operational responsibility for the company
• Implementation of the company strategy in close cooperation with the Board of Directors
• Leadership, promotion and further development of the employees
• Ensuring safe, high-performance, modern and efficient operations in close cooperation with the management team
• Expansion of the existing offer as well as initiation and implementation of selected projects for the sustainable strengthening of the Klewenalp-Stockhütte region
• Representation of Bergbahnen Beckenried-Emmetten AG towards employees, partners, authorities, politics and other stakeholders

Your personality and competencies
You have a business administration, technical or comparable education as well as several years of leadership experience in a medium-sized service company, ideally in the tourism, leisure or transport sector. Entrepreneurial thinking, financial knowledge as well as experience in managing projects are required.

As a resilient and communicative personality with pronounced leadership competence, you act pragmatically, reliably and goal-oriented. A high customer orientation and a good understanding of the tourist and local political environment as well as an affinity for the region round off your profile.
