Lonza in Basel offers you an exciting and practical apprenticeship as Chemist EFZ. During this three-year apprenticeship, you will get to know different chemical work areas. The company language is English, giving you the opportunity to use and continuously expand your language skills daily. You will conduct experiments, evaluate results, work with modern laboratory equipment, and thus gain a comprehensive insight into the world of the chemical and pharmaceutical industry. You will develop a sound understanding of chemical reactions, analytical methods, safety and environmental regulations, as well as regulatory requirements. During your training, you will be supervised by experienced vocational trainers and work closely with various specialist departments. The theoretical training takes place at the vocational school in Muttenz (BL). There, you will learn all the fundamental knowledge in the respective subject areas. The training is supplemented by inter-company courses (üK), in which you acquire additional practical skills.
