You will: - take over functional and technical SW leadership in the context of our current and future software platforms. - design new software concepts, system architectures, and processes in the software environment in the team and thus lay the foundations for future generations of devices. - shape the strategic development within the software, establish processes and new methods, and continuously develop them further. - further develop employees through active coaching and mentoring. - take on a central role in building and maintaining networks within and outside the company and represent our interests in standardization organizations. What do we expect from you? You: - have a university degree (Master, Doctor of Technical Sciences ETH or equivalent) in the field of Technical Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Automation Technology. - have at least 15 years of experience in the development, architecture, and real-time design of embedded systems. - have excellent knowledge and experience in the use of Embedded C/C++, in safety and robustness methods, in software quality metrics, and in Test-Driven Development. - bring sound knowledge from an industrial environment and are familiar with requirements in regulated application areas such as functional safety or metrology. - bring experience in corporate or committee work.
