You will shape our IT in line with the corporate strategy and ensure that our employees can work efficiently and securely. You think in terms of enterprise architectures, understand our business processes, and successfully apply this knowledge in the IT world. As the head of IT, you report to the management and are the central contact person for all IT questions. Together with external partners, you ensure the reliable, secure, and efficient operation of the entire IT infrastructure.

Your tasks - so that you make an impact ###

• You align our IT with the corporate goals: with a clear roadmap, traceable priorities, and a coherent architecture.
• You advise the management on strategic IT issues, improvements, and investments.
• You are responsible for as trouble-free an IT operation as possible together with the external IT partners of WEKA AG.
• You further develop infrastructure, workstations, servers, network, WLAN, and peripheral devices together with our external IT partners.
• You plan, control, and realize IT projects and system expansions.
• You make costs and services controllable: through budget planning, cost control, as well as the administration of hardware and software inventory and licenses.
• You connect management, all departments, and employees, as well as external IT partners.
• You plan the protection of systems and company data: with state-of-the-art IT security measures, virus protection, updates, patch and access management, as well as data backup, recovery, and emergency prevention.
• You permanently anchor knowledge and responsibility at WEKA: with complete, up-to-date IT documentation and operating manuals, as well as clearly translated requirements and traceable operating processes.
• As the data protection officer of WEKA AG, you are the central contact person for customers and employees.

Your profile ###

• You have completed training in the IT field, e.g., as a business informatician, or a comparable advanced training.
• 8+ years of experience in the support of IT systems.
• You understand enterprise architecture and recognize how business processes, applications, infrastructure, data, and interfaces interact.
• You continuously engage with new technologies.
• You master the Microsoft environment.
• You bring good knowledge in network, user management, backup, IT security, data protection, and information security.
• You know the interaction of ERP, CRM, and CAD systems and have good SAP knowledge. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is an advantage.
• You have experience with IT projects and external service providers, control projects and budgets confidently, and assess technical alternatives also economically.
• You work independently, structured, reliably, and solution-oriented.
• You enjoy getting hands-on and take on significant responsibility. You act discreetly and handle confidential data carefully.
• You are highly service- and customer-oriented.
• You demonstrate strong communication skills and effectiveness at different levels.
