Social worker or social educator # Ufficio del servizio sociale dei Grigioni | 80 % | Coira ## The families, children and adolescents sector is responsible for issues related to families and adolescents as well as for the placement sector. In the sectors of childcare complementary to the family as well as for institutions for children and adolescents, it is responsible for the planning of services, authorization, financing, quality assurance as well as the monitoring of services. The specialized service for placing families and adoptions is part of the families, children and adolescents sector and is responsible for the assessment of suitability, supervision and counseling of placing parents. In the adoption sector, the tasks of the specialized service include the specialist verification of adoption applications, as well as the supervision of adoptive families and their support. Another task is collaboration in the supervisory activity in the sector of childcare complementary to the family and at institutions for children and adolescents.  Families, children and adolescents For the specialized service for placing families and adoptions of the Ufficio cantonale del servizio sociale, we are looking for a specialized educator or a social worker for 1 November 2026 or a date to be agreed upon. Tasks • Responsible performance of control visits, as well as support and counseling within the scope of ongoing placement relationships • Assessment of the suitability of placing parents • Contact person for authorities, interested parties and external subjects for issues relating to placement • Quality assurance and continuous development of the processes of the Specialized service for placing families and adoptions  • Collaboration in the supervision of childcare services complementary to the family • Other varied, interesting and responsibility-filled activities What we expect from you • Diploma in social pedagogy, social work or in a related discipline (psychology or educational sciences) • Experience in the field of family support or child protection or willingness to undergo the relevant professional training  • Solution-oriented and interdisciplinary way of thinking and acting, interdisciplinary understanding of tasks and ability to work in a team  • Autonomous, goal-oriented and responsible way of working as well as reliability and competence • Strong communication, conceptual and drafting skills • Knowledge of the official cantonal languages is desirable  • Good IT skills (in particular MS-Word) • Driving license cat.
