Description ###

For an internationally active company in the life science environment in the greater Basel area, we are looking for an experienced and independent personality to strengthen the Facility & Operations department.

In this function, you will take on versatile tasks surrounding the smooth operation of buildings and infrastructure. You will coordinate external partners, keep an eye on quality, costs and deadlines, and support compliance with internal as well as regulatory requirements.

Activities ###

• Coordination and monitoring of external service providers in technical and infrastructural building management
• Ensuring reliable and rule-compliant building operation
• Support and coordination of building, security and monitoring systems
• Participation in occupational safety, environmental and sustainability topics
• Organization of maintenance, cleaning and other facility services
• Support in procurement as well as management of contracts and operational resources
• Collaboration in budgeting, cost control and internal evaluations
• Support in audits, controls and the corresponding documentation
• Analysis and optimization of existing facility and operating processes

Requirements ###

• Technical, commercial or comparable training with a connection to facility management or building technology
• Professional experience in facility management, building operation or in a comparable function
• Experience in cooperation and control of external service providers
• Knowledge from a quality- or regulatory-driven environment is an advantage
• Good user knowledge in MS Office / Microsoft 365
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Very good German skills as well as good English skills
