Head of Specialized Civil Engineering Technical Office

You assume technical responsibility for an office specialized in special civil engineering works, supporting complex infrastructure projects.

Tasks

• Autonomously dimension company variants for excavations, foundations, underpinning, and groundwater lowering
• Define and steer the technical strategy of the unit
• Supervise and develop the team on a technical level
• Develop technical solutions and execution methods for the calculation phase
• Guarantee compliance with SIA norms, SUVA directives, and internal standards
• Promote new technologies such as BIM as well as the optimization of processes and equipment
• Represent the company to clients, planners, geologists, and authorities

Profile

• Degree in civil engineering or geotechnics (HES, EPF or equivalent)
• Proven experience (10 years and more preferred) in the planning and realization of demanding special civil engineering projects in Switzerland
• Excellent knowledge of Swiss construction practice and relevant SIA norms
• Natural leadership qualities, strong communication skills, and a solution-oriented entrepreneurial spirit
• Proficiency in specialized software (DC-Software, Plaxis, Cubus, Autocad); knowledge of SAP and BIM is an asset
• Fluent French and German, spoken and written; English is an asset
