For our center in Fribourg, as part of our succession planning, we are looking for a person as soon as possible, or at the latest by November 1st, for a pivotal role at the heart of our program who loves to combine the complexity of humans with that of the labor market as a:

Vocational Reintegration Coach/Counselor 80-100%

Within the framework of our vocational rehabilitation program mandated by the Disability Insurance (AI), we primarily accompany qualified adults from specialized and/or responsible roles in their retraining process and return to the primary labor market. To strengthen our Fribourg team, we are looking for a person capable of combining coaching quality, understanding of the working world, analytical capacity, and a professional framework.

Your mission:

• Accompany a return to work, which does not simply consist of helping someone find a job
• Help a person progressively regain the ability to function in a professional environment, to identify their resources and limits, to rebuild landmarks, and to develop a way of working that is both realistic and sustainable
• Combine coaching quality, understanding of the working world, analytical capacity, and a professional framework
• Support without doing it instead of them and encourage autonomy and allow everyone to progress, experiment, and learn from their mistakes
• Be empathetic without losing the professional framework and listen to and understand difficulties while keeping the focus on possibilities and objectives
• Observe before interpreting and clearly distinguish between facts, observations, and hypotheses in order to make objective findings useful for rehabilitation decisions
• Understand the real working world and take into account both the person and their professional environment, job requirements, work relationships, and employer expectations
• Be comfortable with complexity and adapt the support to sometimes non-linear paths, while keeping the retraining objectives in sight by sharing observations and knowledge, confronting viewpoints, and requesting another perspective when the situation requires it

Your responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the individual support of a portfolio of participants throughout their rehabilitation measure. Specifically, you:

• conduct regular individual coaching sessions and define concrete progression objectives with each participant
• observe and analyze functional capacities in a professional context: organization, pace, autonomy, communication, workload management, social interactions, and adaptability
• accompany the progressive development of autonomy and capacity to work
• help participants clarify their professional project and prepare their return to the primary labor market
• identify opportunities for simulations, missions, or internships with companies together with them
• facilitate workshops and group training days
• contribute to creating a retraining environment that approaches the real functioning of a company, while respecting the objectives and limits of the measure
• collaborate closely with AI counselors, health professionals, employers, and other partners involved, particularly during network meetings
• write structured, factual reports useful for decision-making
• document observations and important stages of the journey in our internal tools
• actively participate in team life and the continuous improvement of our program

Your profile:

We are looking for an experienced professional in support and the working world, capable of creating a relationship of trust while maintaining a clear framework. Ideally, you have:

• several years of experience in coaching (or psychology), in professional integration/reintegration, case management, vocational guidance, human resources, or career coaching
• recognized training in coaching (ICF or comparable training) or relevant training in the field
