As of January 1, 2027, due to a retirement, the Social Department is looking for you as a Social Worker Assessment Center (70 - 80 %) ## The Assessment Center supports people in challenging life situations. It assesses individual support needs and accompanies adults, families, children, and adolescents in need of protection. The experienced team is committed to sustainable solutions and reliable support. What you will achieve with us • Assessing dangerous situations and writing case analyses for the Child and Adult Protection Authority (KESB) • Conducting interviews with affected persons and their relatives as well as initiating and carrying out need-based interventions - mostly directly in their living environment • Obtaining relevant information from specialists, institutions, and authorities • Advising and accompanying people seeking help within the framework of personal assistance and close cooperation with various internal departments as well as external specialist centers and institutions • Assessing subsidiary and supplementary support offers as well as coordinating the corresponding assignments • Planning and carrying out situation-appropriate crisis interventions How you will impress us • University/University of Applied Sciences preferably in Social Work, Law, Psychology, or similar • Further training in child and adult protection, for example a CAS or a specialist course in the field of assessments is an advantage • Ideally first professional experience in a comparable function • Sound specialist knowledge and enjoyment in actively contributing this to the professional development and quality assurance of the Assessment Center • Enjoyment of contact with people as well as high resilience, sense of responsibility, and strong communication skills • Committed, eager-to-learn, and solution-oriented personality with an interest in continuous professional development What awaits you with us • Appreciative, collegial cooperation and a good working atmosphere • Compatibility of work and private life: annual working hours, part-time work, care days, and home office depending on the function • Generous holiday regulations: at least 26 vacation days, additional vacation days graded by age, 41-hour week, as well as the possibility to take one or two unpaid weeks off • Competence-based development opportunities as well as individual training and further education • High level of independence and autonomy - supported by an experienced and stable team Have we sparked your interest?
