Quality Technician

ROMAY AG is a leading company in the plastics industry. We develop, produce and process sophisticated, custom-made components and cladding systems for medical technology, railway and mechanical engineering.

To complement our team in the quality department, we are looking for, effective immediately or by arrangement, a:

Quality Technician

Your main tasks:

• CAPA Management and sustainable processing of complaints using 8D methodology
• Cross-departmental project work on new projects including inspection planning
• Execution of initial sampling
• Sample inspections within the value chain
• Participation in internal audits and customer audits
• Coaching of employees
• Support in the further development of the QMS
• Support for incoming goods inspection and testing equipment management

Your profile:

• Technical basic training, possibly further training in the field of quality assurance
• Experience in the areas of inspection planning, complaint processing and quality management in an industrial company (plastic processing/assembly of sub-assemblies is an advantage)
• Knowledge of the Six Sigma method is an advantage
• Good MS Office skills
• German in speaking and writing, English is an advantage
• Team player and reliable with a proactive hands-on mentality
