The tilia foundation for long-term care is the main provider of complex long-term care in the Bern region. Across five sites, we support people from the age of 18 who depend on care and support. Our services include long-term residential living units, specialized departments for people with dementia and respiratory diseases as well as long-term neurological and bariatric care, supplemented by outpatient services. We work according to the standards of reference-based care and palliative care.

Your mission

• Personnel, technical, and organizational management of the care and support sector with 77 beds in close collaboration with the residential unit managers and the site management
• Ensure high quality of care and support, taking into account technical, legal, economic, and qualitative requirements
• Responsibility for the development and implementation of care processes and standards
• Monitoring and supporting needs assessments, care planning, and care processes in close collaboration with the care process managers
• Direct management of the personnel of three residential unit managers and three care process managers
• Promotion of constructive, rewarding, and interprofessional collaboration
• Active participation in the development of the care and support sector as well as in projects related to the site and higher levels

Our requirements

• Completed training as a registered nurse HF/FH or equivalent training recognized in Switzerland
• Valid authorization to practice as a nurse in the canton of Bern
• Continuing education in management with content in personnel management and organization or the willingness to undergo corresponding training
• interRAI LTCF-Supervisor or the willingness to acquire this qualification
• Management experience, preferably in long-term care
• Innovative, solution-oriented, and resilient personality with a strong awareness of quality and an understanding of economic issues
• Strong communication and leadership skills as well as pleasure in collaborating with different professional groups
• Willingness to participate actively in change and development processes
