Civil Engineer: Timber Construction and Fire Protection

Planning, dimensioning and project design of load-bearing structures in timber construction across all project phases. Independent processing and management of demanding timber construction projects, development of structural concepts and constructive solutions, cooperation with architects, specialist planners and clients as well as support during execution. Collaboration on fire protection concepts and fire protection technical proofs in timber construction.

A completed university degree (Master) in civil engineering with a specialization in timber construction or an equivalent degree, good knowledge of constructive timber engineering as well as professional experience in the planning and implementation of timber construction projects. Training as a VKF fire protection specialist (female) or VKF fire protection specialist (male) is an advantage, or the willingness to complete this further training.

Very good German skills in speaking and writing, an independent and reliable way of working, ability to work in a team as well as interest in demanding and innovative timber construction projects are expected.
