With over 1'700 employees, we ensure the expanded basic medical and nursing care of the Schaffhausen region. Annually, we care for approximately 11'000 inpatient and 90'000 outpatient patients. Additionally, we are an important training site in the canton. In this two-year training, you will work on various wards of the Kantonsspital Schaffhausen to learn the tasks of a healthcare specialist. You will be accompanied and supported daily by your daily contact persons. In addition, during regular learning days, you can specifically address individual activities with education and specialist managers. After your successful apprenticeship completion, you will be well-trained and can perform the tasks of a healthcare specialist independently. If you have worked 2 years in long-term care, the employment in the acute sector of the Kantonsspital Schaffhausen must be at least 12 months.
