Reservations and Reception Agent

The 4* Hotel Steffani is located in the heart of St. Moritz and has around 80 employees in 4 departments. The hotel has 61 rooms which are divided into 10 different categories from the standard single room to the Steffani Master Suite. Additionally, Hotel Steffani has a modern pool and spa area with a sauna, steam bath and heated indoor pool.

Not to be forgotten, the 3 restaurants, 3 bars and the nightclub. The first and oldest restaurant in St. Moritz, Le Lapin Bleu with Italian and Swiss specialties, Caschölin and the Stüva Grill Restaurant with daily specialties such as beef, lamb and fish from the grill for our Stüva and hotel guests. The 3 bars and the nightclub are also located directly in the hotel and offer great variety for our night owls.

Your tasks

• Check-in / Check-out with own cash register
• Arrival and departure control
• Concierge activities
• Management and control of own cash register and daily closing
• Manage availability on the various reservation channels
• Independent processing of daily tasks / checklist in cooperation with the different shifts
• Close cooperation with the various departments (Housekeeping and F&B)
• Management of the telephone switchboard
• Receipt and processing of all written and telephone reservation inquiries in German and English, Italian or any other foreign language is an advantage
• General administrative tasks and correspondence
• Writing invoices
• Ensuring a smooth flow of information

Your profile

• Completed vocational training and experience in the hotel industry or in the commercial sector
• Very good oral and written skills in German and English, any other language is an advantage
• Very good IT skills and experience with PROTEL or another PMS system is an advantage
• High resilience, exact way of working and flexibility
• Enjoyment of interacting with guests and in sales
• Well-groomed appearance with good manners
• Team spirit and independence
