Our emergency sleeping shelter Iglu is a low-threshold offer for people in need without a clarified residency status in Switzerland (-migrant workers-). From mid-November to mid-April, the Iglu is open daily from 19:00 to 08:00 and offers guests dinner and breakfast in addition to a sleeping place. We support those affected in their current life situation and provide information and counseling. The offer is free of charge for the guests. We are looking for from 1 November 2026 to 30 April 2027 a Caregiver 60 % ## A task that challenges: ### • Responsible for the SWS service during the night • Admission and registration of guests • Allocation of sleeping places • Care of guests • Enforcement of house rules • Preparation of breakfast in the morning • Instruction of voluntary staff and their integration into the evening team A profile that convinces: ### • Experience in working with people without homes, with substance abuse disorders and/or psychiatric illness • Teamwork skills, independence • High flexibility and resilience • Foreign language skills are an advantage • Readiness for shift work A working environment that inspires: ### • Possibility to actively help shape the workplace • A varied and fulfilling activity in an inspiring environment • Cooperation in a well-coordinated team Information is provided by Ms. Sabine Bertschinger, Head of Brot-Egge/IGLU 044 537 58 41.
