Service Assistant (restaurant)

The employer is looking for a: On-call waiter/waitress (reported profession) Tasks: • welcoming customers and providing table service • advising on wines, beverages and menus • taking orders and serving dishes and drinks • guéridon service according to house standards • closing orders, processing bills and cash management • aptitude for problem solving and autonomous service management Requirements: • experience in the catering sector of at least 1 in floor service • good knowledge of classic and modern service techniques • basic knowledge of enology (food-wine pairings) • ability to use cash systems and order management • precise, orderly, flexible and well-coordinated person • good communication and interpersonal skills with the customer and the team • preferably aged between 23 and 50 years • good communicative and relational ability in a national language besides Italian (preferably French or German) • availability to work on Sundays and holidays Employment details: • workplace: Bellinzona (reachable by public transport) • degree of employment: on call (10-40% max) • start of employment: from 01.09.2026 • type of contract: permanent • working hours: Monday - Saturday including Sunday and holidays • salary: according to category CCL
