The Wirtschaftsschule Thun (WST) is the leading vocational and continuing education center in the Berner Oberland. At our locations in Thun and Gstaad, we train around 850 learners annually in 60 classes in five vocational training professions (KV, retail, ICT) as well as two vocational baccalaureate tracks (BM 2). In addition, we accompany 500 participants of higher vocational education in over 80 courses in the business sector. Tasks ###

The sphere of activity for this newly created key position extends across seven schools (two gymnasiums and five vocational schools) in the Berner Oberland. This is your contribution - Actively participate in the development and introduction of the ISMS at seven schools. - Sustainably manage, review, and optimize the ISMS at the schools. - Establish a lived ISDS awareness among school management, teachers, and administration and provide advice on concepts and risk analyses appropriate to the level. - Systematically collect and assess ISDS risks, develop and implement cross-school standards from them, and support the schools in managing them. - Represent school interests towards the office as well as other school cooperations and report to the SIBE and the school management.

Requirements ###

What you bring with you - Bachelor/Master in computer science or in the field of education, Informatiker/in EFZ with relevant professional experience as well as subject-specific further training (e.g., CAS, CISA, CRISK). - Sound practice in the ISDS environment (ideally Sek II or cantonal data protection) as well as in the development and operation of ISMS. - High degree of personal responsibility and a structured and solution-oriented way of working to manage seven school contexts in parallel. - Assertive and conflict-capable personality with high empathy to convey complex specifications appropriately to the level and to grasp connections quickly. - German at C2 level, willingness to travel in the Berner Oberland area.
