Training plan
The apprenticeship takes place over 4 years and leads to the federal certificate of capacity CFC.
Theoretical training:
The courses are provided at the Ecole Professionnelle Artisanat Service Communautaire (EPASC) in Martigny at a rate of one or two days per week.
Practical training:
The practical training in the company takes place at CIMO, under the responsibility of a trainer.
Inter-company courses (CIE) take place at the Ecole Professionnelle Technique et des Métiers (EPTM) in Sion.
The profession
As part of your apprenticeship, you will be led to discover four options of the profession: piping, boilermaking, locksmithing, and plastics.
In these 4 fields, you will perform measurements, you will create unique parts according to 2D and 3D models, you will use state-of-the-art machines (CNC, robot, etc.), you will perform welds through different processes, you will manufacture supports and perform their installation on various construction sites.
The essence of the profession consists of planning and realizing installations as well as complex industrial parts and devices.
