Your tasks

• As a member of our interdisciplinary treatment team, you will care for patients in the outpatient clinic.
• Following thorough induction, you will take over the psychotherapeutic assessment, treatment, and counseling of patients and their relatives in individual and group settings.
• Your varied daily work includes the entire spectrum of psychiatric clinical pictures, in which you conduct individual and multi-person conversations.
• You will coordinate treatments independently, plan therapies, and carry out test-psychological assessments.
• You will actively participate in reports, case discussions, and further training and will be in close exchange with other practitioners.
• With the support of our secretariat, you will complete case-related documentation, write reports, and record services in the clinical information system.

Your profile

• You have successfully completed your psychology studies and have already gained experience in outpatient or inpatient adult psychiatry.
• Your psychotherapy advanced training is recognized in Switzerland and is either completed or well advanced.
• You already possess the professional practice permit for psychotherapy of the Canton of St.Gallen or are willing to acquire it before starting the position.
• An interest in outpatient, interdisciplinary treatment distinguishes you, whereby you always take into account the individual needs of the patients and their relatives.
• You are motivated to actively contribute your specialist knowledge, to develop professionally, and to help shape the future of psychiatry in St.Gallen.
• You bring with you initiative, a sense of responsibility, and very good German skills (mandatory C1).

Your salary

At a 100% workload, your gross salary is expected to be between 109'000.- and 159'000.- Francs per year.

The contract

In the following days, we will send you the contract in duplicate by mail. With the contract, you will also receive relevant information regarding your employment.
Preboarding

Between the acceptance of the position and the first working day, you as a new employee can already access relevant internal information. This allows you to form a differentiated picture of the company and to prepare for the job.
First working day

On the first day, onboarding in your new team and with other colleagues awaits you. You will set up your new workplace and get an overview of your next tasks. In addition, you will receive your individual induction plan, which will help you to find your way around quickly.
