Your tasks

As Head of Production, you take on overall responsibility for the planning, management, and further development of production and lead your subordinate managers and employees professionally and personally. In doing so, you ensure that daily and project business is implemented with awareness of deadlines, quality, and costs, and you keep productivity, capacities, and economic objectives in view at all times. You analyze key figures and existing processes, recognize the need for action, and initiate concrete measures to increase productivity, quality, and efficiency. At the same time, you develop new manufacturing and process concepts, consistently drive improvements, and take over the management of internal projects and sub-projects. As an important interface between production, adjacent specialist departments, and management, you ensure clear processes and smooth cooperation. Furthermore, you bear budget and revenue responsibility for your area and actively participate in company goals, strategies, and business plans.

Your profile

You are a strong leadership personality with entrepreneurial thinking, technical understanding, and a pronounced hands-on mentality. You make decisions, take responsibility, and maintain an overview even when production, deadlines, and different interests demand your attention simultaneously.

• Technical basic training with corresponding specialist and/or leadership training
• Several years of professional experience in a comparable production function, ideally in the metal or manufacturing industry
• Sound experience in the professional and personal leadership of employees
• Good understanding of production processes, key figures, and business management correlations
• Entrepreneurial, solution-oriented, and proactive way of thinking and acting
• Pronounced organizational, communication, and assertiveness skills
• Decisiveness combined with strategic foresight
• Resilient and integrous personality with high personal responsibility
• Pronounced hands-on mentality and enjoyment of actively implementing changes
• Good German and English skills in speaking and writing
