VR SA has been active for many years in traffic regulation and communication technology as an independent company on the Swiss market. Our traffic data collection department operates and maintains more than 1000 measurement points in Switzerland for our clients. To ensure that everything continues to function optimally, we are looking for a reliable and team-oriented person for the traffic data collection department (VDE), starting immediately or by agreement, as:

Traffic Data Collection Service Technician (80 - 100%)

Your profile:

• Completed apprenticeship as an installation electrician CFC, automation technician CFC, or in a related profession
• Knowledge of industrial electronics
• Autonomous, precise, and solution-oriented working method
• Good IT skills
• Team spirit and good manners
• Category B driver's license
• Customer orientation and willingness to constantly stay up to date
• First experience in managing infrastructure projects in the electrical sector
• Willingness for continuous professional and personal development

Your tasks:

• Repair and troubleshooting work on traffic measurement points
• Maintenance work on traffic measurement points
• Assistance during commissioning and extensions of traffic measurement points
• Construction of devices, configuration, and commissioning of traffic measurement points in the VDE laboratory
• Analyses using video
• Assistance in the planning of repairs, maintenance work, claims, and installations
• Processing of support cases via remote access
• Written and telephone communication with clients and partners
• Responsibility for the planning, implementation, and management of your own projects
