Registered Nurse: Heart Valve Diseases

The Heart/Vascular medical sector combines the Cardiology, Angiology, and Heart and Vascular Surgery clinics. Inselspital offers comprehensive care in the diagnosis, therapy, and aftercare of patients with congenital, degenerative, and post-infectious heart valve diseases through an interdisciplinary team. As a supplement to the heart valve team, consisting of six doctors and one nursing professional, we are looking for a registered nurse.

What awaits you ##

• Preliminary diagnosis, care, and aftercare of this patient population in inpatient and outpatient clinic operations:
• Coordination of preliminary examinations as well as organization of catheter-based heart valve interventions
• Assistance during invasive interventions
• Coordination of interprofessional and peri-interventional care and aftercare
• Conducting outpatient consultations
• Scientific collaboration on research projects, including patient recruitment for clinical studies in cooperation with research assistants

What you bring with you ##

• Several years of professional experience in nursing, preferably in the cardiovascular field
• Flair for actively shaping partnership-based interdisciplinary and interprofessional cooperation
• Strong communication skills as well as networked thinking
• Independent and at the same time team-oriented way of working
• Good German and French, preferably also English skills
