Our client, an attractive, financially strong, and future-oriented municipality in the Canton of Baselland, is looking for an experienced and communicative LEADERSHIP PERSONALITY – an analytical leadership personality proficient in all construction processes and in real estate portfolio management, with assertiveness, decisiveness, foresight, tact, and conviction for the versatile Head of Real Estate Portfolio Management and Construction Process Management In this important, strategic position in the public environment, you will work hand in hand with the Head of the Construction Department and will be responsible for the overall supervision of the portfolio management of all real estate (VV and FV) of the municipality and of the construction process management. This varied leadership and management role includes strategic tasks in the areas of portfolio management, construction process management, and building maintenance with the following main tasks: Active, strategic-operative control of the overall portfolio of all real estate (VV and FV) and of the complex construction process management Leadership of the real estate department and ensuring the sustainable management of all existing real estate based on real estate strategy and action plan Coordination task of the overall processes for real estate and construction including the interfaces in real estate management with operational maintenance (technical object management, Facility Management) and construction project management Main contact person, advisor, and sparring partner for owner representatives/department heads of the various business circles or product groups of the municipality LEADERSHIP PERSONALITY with a focus on strategic tasks – great understanding of real estate portfolio management and construction process management – assertive – convincing – very good written German To be successful in this demanding leadership role with perspectives and with conceptual and operative issues, you possess the following profile: Completed technical construction training in architecture/civil engineering (Master or Bachelor), supplemented with further training in business administration, construction process and/or portfolio management Experience in real estate portfolio management and in complex construction processes Several years of leadership experience in a key role in the construction and real estate sector with interdisciplinary cooperation with different stakeholders Independent, communicative, and assertive leadership personality with strong analytical skills and enjoyment in translating results into audience-appropriate reports Interest in political processes and connections, enjoyment of impact-oriented work and of interesting leadership tasks Are you ready for an extraordinary, enormously exciting leadership task in the construction and real estate sector with interesting perspectives?
